“Worth every penny - like we had our own scholar traveling with us.”
We were on a tight schedule and decided last minute to book a private tour for to minimize lines and getting around. Pick ICON upon a friends recommendation. Smartest move we made! Sarah was great. not only did she zip us around with ease, the best part was all of the preparation and knowledge she shared about the art, arch. & history. Main spots we hit were Pantheon, Colleseu, Forum in morning. and Vatican in the afternoon. She knows how to avoid long lines, which quick routes to go by taxis, (like "go to the gelloto place on the corner where the vatican choir goes after practice, not to the vatican!" saved us half an hour in the tax). She explained which pieces of art were most significant and why, told us what to look for in the various works and the stories behind the places. She had a whole 'kit' of drawings and pictures to enhance the history and art lesson She was an absolute gem. We would have totally blown it in Rome on our own. Thanks Sarah, Thanks ICON Tours!

I just want to let you know that one of the highlights of our trip to Italy was spending the afternoon with Sarah. Not only was she very knowledgeable but she made the afternoon fun.
