If you have ever wanted to try your hand at watercolor painting, this is the moment for you!  This unique experience, set against the spectacular backdrop of ancient Rome, will appeal to anyone who has ever wanted to capture their travels in a sketch or a painting.  Under the expert guidance of an internationally-known artist and professor of painting. Participants will record their Roman holiday in pencil and watercolor.  What more satisfying way to record your impressions of the Eternal City?

  6. Our program is aimed at beginners, intermediate or advanced artists, and we are
    confident there is something to inspire everyone. No matter your level of ability, whether you’d like to try your hand at sketching and painting for the first time, or are looking to build upon existing skills, you will be introduced to the appropriate techniques and encouraged to experiment and enjoy the freedom that this medium can offer. Subjects such as perspective, line, tone and color will be taught, while drawing and painting out-of-doors amidst the ruins and beautiful piazzas of this capital city.

  8. Your are welcome to bring your own materials or if you prefer, we’ll provide drawing pencils, quality sketching and Arches watercolor paper, brushes and Winsor Newton watercolors at no additional cost. The groups are small with plenty
    of time for one-on-one instruction, and guests are welcome join us for 2 or 3 days for further instruction. Each session lasts at least 3-hours.
